I book a double and non smoking but I was put in a smoking smell room with one bed. Then after I told the receptionist they put me in another one bed but no smoke smell. Then I reported that then I was put in another room with 2 beds but the bathroom was very unclean and the bed skirt had mildew of some sort on it.
At this point I was very tired and exhausted from driving for 3 days. I couldn’t take no more.
I truly believe they should refund me of the money I spent for that night seriously..

Cant really rate facilities at all since i made reservation and arrived earlier than expected to find out the front desk guy was dealing with a huge water leak coming down of the roof. He was not helpful at all and assured he didn’t had any availability to offer. Had to go to a close hotel and end up paying twice. Still have no response from administration in regards to this situation since i was still charged for the room.

Location convenient to everything we needed. Restaurants and Stores. Suite was large, Kitchen sufficient for what we needed. Full-size fridge, stove/oven, microwave and Coffee maker. We did very little cooking, but could have. Bathroom good, shower water pressure excellent. Aside from some 'future maintenance', everything was in good working order. VERY CLEAN Sheets and Towels. TV in outer room, as well as bedroom. While I prefer a more 'firm' mattress, we slept well. A/C and Heating worked very well.

This place is absolutely horrible.
This place is absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t send my own worst enemies to stay at this place. It was absolutely filthy. Upon walking into the first room we were given, there was a huge brown stain on the bed. When given a second room to try, the smoke detector was completely missing from the wall, the bathroom was dirty and my daughters room next door to us smelled like weed and had remnants of it on the dresser. The pool was an emerald green color, there was trash all around the property. When we went to see if we could get our money back, the girl at the front desk called her manager and the manager said she’d be getting to work at 11pm to talk to us (it was 9:3pm), and we now needed to find a new place to stay so we didn’t have time to wait 1.5 hours for her to come in. She refused to talk with us on the phone. We asked the girl at the front desk what her managers name was and she said Stephanie, then we asked for her last name so we could call her the next day to get a refund and we were told “she doesn’t like to give that out”. How unprofessional is that, that the manager refused to give her name out. We weee thankfully able to find a clean place to stay down the road. I will never visit this place again and I hope no one else puts themselves through this mess either.

If you have kids playing basketball at the rocky mount...
If you have kids playing basketball at the rocky mount sports center complex this is the best place. The facility is only about 10 minutes down the road. We got in late and were upgraded to another room. Maybe because someone needed the 2 queen beds. 1 king bed was great for us. Hotel was very clean. Nice help. Even the maids asked how our stay went. More than I exspected. After staying at another hotel up the street many times we decided to try Tru. We will be coming back here in the future.

They were two elevators one was not working and the other...
They were two elevators one was not working and the other one fit three people comfortably, but took forever. Thank God we were on the second floor I just took the stairs. There was a huge party going on with loud music right off the lobby downstairs and the restaurant attached is not part of the Hilton it is privately owned but the food was great. That was the only good thing about this day. We didn’t realize that the filthy room was so disgusting but after driving from New York all day, we decided just to sleep I have pictures that have been uploaded I will never ever ever stay in. It had a nice office for travelers to use. It had a nice fitness area and beautiful pool. The location was great near the highway and about 10-15 minutes from Rocky Mount. Due to COVID, breakfast was individually packaged crackers, bananas, apples, and coffee/tea. The hotel was not fancy, but for a place to sleep at night for a busy wedding weekend, it got the job done.
